The Holborne Brass Ensemble was formed in 1985 by freelance musicians living in the West Midlands. The group's aim is to perform high quality and entertaining brass ensemble programmes in their own inimitable style. Since their formation, the group have become one of the UK's most popular and respected brass groups.
The members of the Holborne Brass Ensemble are all experienced musicians who have played in a variety of orchestras, chamber groups, big bands and brass bands around the world, and our CVs boast hundreds of performances in addition to a range professional recordings covering many styles and genres of music.
We are available to hire for many different types of function and have a range of concert programs to suit both formal and informal events. Our repertoire stretches from Gabrielli to Goldfrapp, from Arnold to Zappa, from Bach to Bhangra and our talented associated arrangers can supply custom arrangements to suit any occasion.
